Who we are

This website

These pages are static. They set no cookies, run no analytics, load nothing from advertising or social-media companies, and contain no forms. The fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. We have no way of knowing who has read these pages, and we don't want one.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare receives the standard connection details your browser sends when it requests a page — your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — and uses them to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may set a short-lived technical cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated attack, and it inserts a small script that hides our email address from spam harvesters. We don't receive any report from Cloudflare that identifies individual visitors.

When you email or call

If you email, your message and address are kept in our business email (Google Workspace) so we can reply and, if you go ahead, arrange the assessment. If you call, we may note your name and number to call you back. That is all it is used for. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your details with anyone. Ask at any time and we'll delete what we hold.

Your child's information

The baseline assessment and any tutoring that follows involve information about your child: assessment results, session notes, samples of their reading and writing, and homework records. Before any of that is collected you'll be given an enrolment form that explains exactly what is kept, where, for how long, and who can see it, and asks for your consent. In short: it is stored securely, it is used only to plan and report on your child's teaching, it is shared only with you (and with your child's school only if you ask us to), and you can see it or ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Australian law

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), whether or not a small business is strictly required to. If you believe we've got something wrong, tell us first and we'll fix it; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
